Kickstand from Hotmatch Customs. I drew out a plan
for a bare-bones minimalist stand that I could
have made myself (knockoff)...but then I decided if
there's anywhere on the bike to splurge, to go with a
proven designed part, it's on the thing that keeps
the bike standing upright and unsmashed.
I would have ended up with an external spring anyway, I
wouldn't have been fancy enough to make an internal mechanism.
The only trick is picking a good lean angle, making sure
to check the lean with the wheel turned either way. The bike
has a fair amount of trail, so it leans more with the wheel
to the left, and barely at all to the right. It should be good
for parking on hills.
