We fixed the welder, and suddenly I feel like I can
get this bike done. The long vacation is over. It was a pretty bracket before my birdshit welds. It was mostly the repeated tacking and knocking it off to get it in the ideal position that burned me. Oh wait, and my grand total of 2.5 minutes of welding experience, none with that low-voltage welder. The cylinder takes a 1/4" rod that will pass along the frame behind the exhaust to the forward controls. Should be a nice clean symmetrical foot control system with the cylinder hidden back there. |
