| The cheap stock-style Harley petcock hung down too low and was really ugly, so I splurged on a much nicer petcock. I was a bit worried that it had a 5/8" outlet where all the other plumbing is 1/4", but it turns out that my 1/4" hose was flexible enough to slip over the outlet no problem. |

The other components in the fuel line are a Fuel Filter to keep
any junk out of the carbs, and a "T" splitter, because each carb
has its own inlet. (the original Yamaha ran dual petcocks and
fuel lines) It's official: we can run fuel. |
