| We'd have to chop off the locking tab just to get the lower tree into its home, and then grind away at the corners to give us a decent turning angle. |

| And since the neck bearings are press fit, the trees go on a lot easier than they come back off. For this reason, I painted the lower tree, neck cups, and bearing dust covers so that we wouldn't have to take it back apart for paint unless we really wanted to. |
